Manufacturer strongly recommends the use of a filter filtering potable water before
ent ering t he boiler. The st rainer prevent s any sedim ent at ion and debris from your wat er
supply piping from ent ering t he boiler. Debris carried from t he wat er supply will clog
DHW water flow sensor, potentially resulting in significant operation issues.
Locat e t he st rainer as close t o t he boiler as possible and place on DHW ( dom est ic hot
wat er) inlet connect ion locat ed at bot t om of t he boiler.
