Run mode
You may choose between Continuous and Interrupted mode.
•
In Continuous mode, if the waveform calculation has already been
performed, the AWGs are not stopped when you click APPLY for the
new settings. The AWG outputs are the waveforms for the previous
settings. After the new waveform has been calculated, the new
waveforms are generated without stopping the AWGs.
•
In the Interrupted mode, the functionality is such that applying a new
waveform always triggers the AWGs to stop.
For some combinations of the parameter settings, it is imperative that
NOTE
the AWGs are always stopped (such as, change in HS Symbol Range and
so on).
