5-3. DEC-117 Board Adjustment (BKSR-2031)
Preparation
. Connect the equipment.
. Turn on the power of the VSR-2000 and warm up the
unit about 10 minutes.
. Remove the front panel.
. Connect the COM output of a personal computer to the
EXT-232C connector on the front of the VSR-2000.
. Set the service port selector switch so as to match the
slot of the board to be adjusted.
. Confirm that "DEC>" is displayed on the terminal.
Adjustment Procedures
1. Enter V\ \ \ \ \ PHASE using the terminal software of a
personal computer and press the [ENTER] key. The
present value appears.
2. In order to delay the output video phase, enter V\ \ \ \ \ + + + + +
and press the [ENTER] key. The output video phase
is delayed by 1 CLK (about 37 ns).
3. In order to advance the output video phase, enter
V\ \ \ \ \ _ _ _ _ _ and press the [ENTER] key. The output video
phase is advanced by 1 CLK (about 37 ns).
4. In order to input values directly, enter a value in the
format of V\ \ \ \ \ 0010 and press the [ENTER] key.
Upper limit 0400 (hexadecimal)
Lower limit FC00 (hexadecimal)
5. Repeat step 2 or 3 to adjust the phase until the specifi-
cation is satisified.

6. Enter V\ \ \ \ \ SET and press the [ENTER] key to save
the adjustment value in the NVRAM.
7. Enter RES and press the [ENTER] key to set the
DEC-117 board again.
Confirm again that the specification is satisfied.
