7. Remove the front panel. (Refer to Section 4-2-1.)
8. Select the target CPU using the service port selector switch.
(Refer to Installation Manual Section 2-6-5.)
9. Connect the VSR-2000 to a personal computer and set the communication rate.
(Refer to Section 2-1.)
10. Activate the Tera Term and select "Setup" _ "Serial port" and set as follows.
Transmit delay : 0 msec/char
0 msec/line
11. Activate Tera Term.
12. Press the [ENTER] key.
("CCM-38>" is displayed.)
13. Enter "VER" and confirm the CPU name and current software version.
14. Enter "flerase -C 1".
(Sector 1 of the old version software is erased.)
15. Enter "flprg flash2.hex".
16. Enter "RES".
(The software in the old version stops and the CPU is reset.)
17. Enter "RES" and confirm that a message is displayed on the screen.
(The program in a new version is executed.)
