Step 4: Component and Function Checks
Action
Check that the oil temperature sensor is functioning properly.
Check that the intake manifold pressure sensor is functioning properly.
Check power supply and ground for engine ECU.
Check engine ECU wiring harness, terminals, and pins for damage or oxidation.
Check the EPG and AVU for proper function, signal input, power supply, and air supply.
Check that the EPG shutter is functioning properly and is not stuck or damaged.
Check condition of VCB regulating valve.
Check that oil pressure for the rocker arm shaft is within specifications.
