Step 3: VCADS Pro Tests
The results of the following tests using the VCADS Pro
tool may indicate which system or component is a possible
cause of the symptom. These tests can also eliminate
components or systems with no faults or malfunctions.

Check that the coolant pump is operating correctly (without abnormal noise) (D12D)
Pressure-check cooling system with oil pan removed to identify leaks.
Check the oil cooler and seals. Check for leaks and faults (oil in coolant).
Check the cylinder liner seals. Check for leaks and faults (coolant in oil).
