Step 3: VCADS Pro Tests
The results of the following tests using the VCADS Pro
tool may indicate which system or component is a possible
cause of the symptom. These tests can also eliminate
components or systems with no faults or malfunctions.

Action:
Check the condition of the fuel pump seals; also make sure the weep hole is not plugged
(D12D).
Check that the gasket between the fuel supply pump and the timing gear plate seals
correctly (D12D).
Check the fuel galley plug in the front of the cylinder head (D12D)
Check the fuel galley plug in the rear of the cylinder head (D16D).
