5. Installing Options
This section describes the installation procedures of the applicable options in the Device
Expansion Unit and the notes on the installations.
IMPORTANT:
The user can install or remove any option in or from
the Device Expansion Unit. If so, NEC assumes no
liability for any damage of the Device Expansion Unit
and any components and the results from the
system operation. It is recommended to ask a
maintenance engineer of your sales agent having
the expert and detailed knowledge on the system to
install or remove the relevant option in or from the
Device Expansion Unit.
Use options and cables authorized by NEC. Repair
of the chassis due to a failure or damage resulted
from use of components unauthorized by NEC will
be charged.
