INTRODUCTION

Dear customer, thank you for purchasing our product. Please read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep these instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Consider the instructions for use as a part of the appliance and pass them on to any other user of the appliance.
  • The product is intended for home use and similar (in shops, offices and similar workplaces, in hotels, motels and other residential environments, in facilities providing accommodation with breakfast). It is not intended for commercial use!
  • Children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities can operate the appliance only under supervision.
  • Never immerse the appliance into water. Don´t wash it in flowing water!
  • When in use, keep the appliance away from heat sources (e.g. stove, fireplace, heat radiators), wet surfaces (e. g. kitchen sink) and appliances generating strong magnetic fields (e.g.microwave, radio, mobile telephone).
  • Protect it against direct sunshine, low or high temperatures and excessive moisture.
  • If you will not use the appliance for a long time, remove the batteries.
  • If the battery is leaking, replace it immediately. Otherwise, it could damage the appliance.
  • Discharged battery must be disposed in an appropriate manner.
  • Never use the appliance for any other purpose than for that described in these instructions for use!
  • Keep the battery and the appliance away from children and mentally disabled persons. Any person who swallows the battery must immediately seek medical assistance.
  • The manufacturer is neither liable for damage caused by improper use of the appliance nor for damage caused by failure to observe the safety precautions by operation of the warranty.

AKitchen grinder

  • A1 – ON/OFF button
  • A2 – grinding fineness knob
  • A3 – illumination of the space below the grinder
  • A4 – bottom section
  • A5 – transparent container
  • A6 – upper section with drive unit
  • A7 – battery compartment
  • A8 – top cover

PREPARATION FOR USE

Remove all packaging materials and take out the appliance.

Power supply
Battery: 6x AAA 1.5 V

Inserting/replacing the batteries
Remove top cover A8 and upper section A6 (see figure). Insert the batteries into battery compartment A7. Use the reverse procedure to put the grinder together. All components must be adequately locked in place.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

FILLING THE GRINDER

Remove top cover A8 and upper section A6 (see figure). Fill salt or pepper into container A5 up to the brim. Use the reverse procedure to put the grinder together. All components must be adequately locked in place.

ADJUSTMENT OF GRINDING FINENESS

  • Turn knob A2 clockwise to increase grinding fineness.
  • Turn knob A2 counter clockwise to reduce grinding fineness.

SWITCHING ON/OFF

  • Press and hold A1 to switch on the grinder.
  • Release A1 to switch off the grinder.

Remark
A3 will light on during grinder operation.

MAINTENANCE

Wipe the surface of the appliance with soft damp cloth. Do not use coarse or aggressive detergents (e.g. sharp things, thinners or other solvents)!

Expert service must do the large maintenance or to intervene into inside parts of the appliance! Non-observance of the instructions of the manufacturer cancels the right for guarantee repair!

ENVIRONMENT


If dimensions permit, all pieces have printed symbols of materials used for production of packing, components and accessories as well as recycling symbols. The symbols on the product or documentation means the electric or electronic parts used in the appliance may not be disposed off together with communal waste.

Hand over the electric or electronic part to a waste collection yard for free disposal. Proper disposal of the product will help preserving valuable natural resources and preventing potential negative impacts on environment and human health that would otherwise result from improper waste disposal. For more details, please contact your local authorities or collection yard. Fines may be imposed for improper disposal of this type of waste pursuant to national directives. Discharged batteries must be removed and given to authorised collection points for safe disposal. Do not incinerate the batteries!
