Time-setting option Use
Timer
The timer functions like an egg timer. It runs

independently of the appliance when it is in
operation and of other time-setting options,
and does not affect the appliance.
Time
When no other function is running in the fore-

ground, the appliance shows you the time of
day in the display.
A signal sounds once the timer duration has elapsed.
You can cancel the audible signal early by tapping the
button.

Setting the timer

The timer runs alongside other settings. You can set it
at any time, even if the appliance is switched off. It has
its own audible signal so that you can tell whether it is
the timer or a cooking time which has elapsed.
You can set a duration of up to 23 hours 59 minutes.
Up to 10 minutes, the timer duration can be set in 30-
second increments. Above 10 minutes, the time
increments become longer the higher the value.
The timer duration starts at a different default value,
depending on which button you tap first:

Setting the time

Once the appliance has been connected to the mains
or following a power failure, the clock will flash on the
display. Set the time.
The function selector must be set to the "Off" position.
Use the

Changing the time
You can change the time again when you need to, e.g.

To do this, when the appliance is switched off, touch the
