    — Set-Up SeedVeyor 260/360 Pre-Delivery Checklist After the SeedVeyor tender has been completely assembled, use the following checklist and inspect the tender. Check off each item as it is found satisfactory or after proper adjustment is made. o Torque wheel nuts as specified in Maintenance section. o Torque all axle mounting hardware to 120 ft.-lbs.

  • Page 33 — Operation SeedVeyor 260/360 Raising and Lowing Conveyor/Auger • Always hold the transport latch lever to the side when raising the conveyor/auger. For manual operation, hold the latch lever to the side, and crank the winch to raise the conveyor/auger out of transport. The conveyor/ auger can then be raised and lowered by cranking the winch in or out.

    — Maintenance SeedVeyor 260/360 Brake Cleaning and Inspection Your undercarriage brakes must be inspected and serviced immediately if a loss of performance is experienced. With normal use, servicing at one year intervals is usually adequate. With increased usage, this work should be performed more frequently as required. Magnets and shoes must be changed when they become excessively worn or scored, a condition which can reduce vehicle braking.

The amperage will vary in proportion to the voltage. The engine of the tow vehicle should be running with the undercarriage connected when checking the undercarriage braking system.

These two areas are the drum surface where the brake shoes make contact during stopping and the armature surface where the magnet contacts (only in electric brakes). The drum surface should be inspected for excessive wear or heavy scoring.
