PF = potential free signal contact Float
E1 = Input 1 (Off)
E2 = Input 2 (On)
COM = Ground, reference electrode

7. Assembly and Installation

If permanently installed, the equipment must be set
up in a dry, well ventilated place sheltered from we-
ather, where the room temperature must not exceed
40°C
It is up to the operator to prevent consequential da-
mages, e.g. flooding of rooms during equipment
faults, by means of appropriate measures (e.g. a re-
serve pump or similar).
AL3PS+2SW
AL3PS+2SW with 2 float switches:
Place the float switch, for example, in the pump shaft of
the cellar. Fasten the cable with the float switch so that
the desired switching level is ensured, for pump shafts,
this is above the switching level of the pump.
Ensure that the float switches can move freely in the event
of a flood, to ensure perfect functioning of the device.
Also make sure that the switch-off level for the pump is
above the pump chamber so that the pump is protected
against dry running.
