Perform a blood glucose test

4. Move the entire front
edge of test strip to
touch the edge of blood
drop.
Blood is drawn into and
fills the test strip.
Important:
Hold the test strip in
place until the meter
beeps, then move
it away.
The test strip must be
filled by the time the
meter beeps. If you are
having difficulty, see
page 29.
Blood drop may be applied to test strip from the
positions shown below.
Do not apply blood to test
strip with
the meter
below the
blood drop.
