Problem solving guide
Problem
The fan can still be
heard after the
appliance has been
switched off.
You can hear a
humming sound when
the appliance is
switched on, during
operation or after the
appliance has been
switched off.
After moving house
the appliance no
longer switches from
the heating-up phase
to the cooking phase.
During operation an
unusually large
amount of steam
escapes, or steam
escapes from parts of
the steam combi oven
where it does not
usually.
The panel does not
open/close
automatically although
the
sensor has
=
been touched several
times.

Possible cause
The appliance is fitted with
a fan which removes steam
from the oven. The fan
continues to run even after
the appliance has been
switched off.
Water is being pumped in
or out.
The boiling temperature of
the water has changed as
the altitude of the new
location for the appliance
differs from the old one by
at least 300 m.
The door is not properly
closed.
The door seal is not
correctly fitted.
The door seal is damaged,
e.g. cracks can be seen.
Something is obstructing
the travel of the panel.
The safety device on the
panel is very sensitive and
can sometimes prevent the
panel from opening or
shutting.
Remedy
This is not a fault. The fan
switches off automatically
after a certain period of
time.
This sound does not
indicate a malfunction or
fault with the appliance. It
happens when the water is
pumped in and out of the
system.
To adjust the boiling
temperature, descale the
appliance (see "Cleaning
and care - Descale").
Close the door.
Press it in all the way round
the door to make sure it is
fitted evenly.
Replace the door seal.
Remove the obstruction.
Open/close the panel by
hand (see the end of this
section).
If this problem occurs too
frequently, please call the
Service Department.
