  • Page 9 Warning and Safety instructions Safety with children  Activate the system lock to ensure that children cannot switch on the steam oven inadvertently.  Young children must not be allowed to use this appliance.  Older children may only use the appliance if its operation has been clearly explained to them and they are able to use it safely.

Installation, maintenance and repairs must only be carried out by a Miele authorised technician.  A damaged appliance is dangerous. Check the appliance for any visible damage.

You could burn yourself on the heating elements, oven compartment, shelf runners, accessories, food or steam. Wear oven gloves when placing food in the oven or removing it, and when adjusting oven shelves etc.

If it does ignite, do not put the flames out with water. Switch the steam oven off immediately and then suffocate the flames by keeping the oven door closed.
