The Warranty will be applicable only for the specified period as mentioned under CARRIER
SERVICES section, irrespective of whether this air-conditioning product is in use or not, for any
reason/ excuse, including any break down , time taken for repairs replacements and transmit
time etc. The Warranty will automatically expire / terminate on completion of the period indicated
under CARRIER SERVICES section and no notice whatsoever will be given to this effect.
1. All parts failing due to faulty material or defective workmanship pertaining to this air-conditioning
product will be repaired /replaced at CARL's sole discretion, within the Warranty period
mentioned in Carrier Services.
2. Parts/Components of Indoor & Outdoor units that will be replaced or repaired under the terms of
this Warranty are warranted only for the remaining period of the original Warranty. Any unit or
their components/parts replaced shall be the property of CARL.
3. Installation, reinstallation, service, or repair shall be carried out by CARL authorized service
person.
4. For units installed beyond the Municipal limits of the jurisdiction of CARL authorized dealer, all
expenses incurred in collecting the unit or parts or components thereof from the Service Station of
the CARL authorized dealer and expenses incurred in connection with deputing of Service
Personnel /technician towards to & fro travel conveyance and other incidental expenses etc., will
be borne by the customer and payable in advance.
5. The Warranty extended here is in lieu of all implied conditions and warranties applicable under the
law and is confined to repair or replacement of defective parts and does not cover any consequential
or resulting liability, damage or loss arising from such defects. Furthermore, the Warranty, in no case,
shall extend to the payment of any monetary consideration whatsoever, or the replacement or return
of this air-conditioning product.
6. This Warranty is not transferable. However, in case there is any change in the ownership and /or
change in the location of the unit, it is obligatory on the part of the new purchaser/customer that,
he should immediately intimate in writing to CARL, at least a week before such change takes
place. Failure to do so shall totally absolve CARL of its obligation under this Warranty.
7. Further, for continuation of this Warranty at the new location and /or new ownership, fresh installation
charges and inspection fee for the units as well as the cost of rectification of any damage in transit
or due to mishandling shall be added to the customer's account or the new customer's account as
the case may be, and shall be paid in advance. In case, for any reason, the customer/owner does
