The Adaptive Cruise with Braking

vehicle throttle will be reduced;
the engine retarder engaged; and
the service brakes applied, in that
order to maintain the set following
distance.
NOTE: When the ACB applies the
service brakes, cruise control will
automatically pause, and will
cancel if vehicle speed falls below
the minimum set speed or the
driver manually depresses the
brake pedal.
