Check the closing device

Check the drum closing device regularly to ensure that it is in perfect
condition.
If there is fluff on the drum door, remove the fluff.

Treating rust

The drum and the suds container are made of stainless steel. Water
containing iron or ferrous foreign objects (e.g. paper clips, metal
buttons, or iron shavings) can lead to rust formation.
Clean the drum and the suds container regularly and if rust occurs,
remove it immediately with a proprietary stainless steel care product.
Check the door seals for ferrous residues. Clean the door seals
regularly as a preventive measure using proprietary care products.
