Problem
Total power failure during
the washing process. To
remove the laundry, first
open the drain valve
manually and then
manually unlock the door.
Excessive foaming during
the wash cycle.
Possible cause and remedy
There is no power to the washing machine due to a
prolonged power failure.
Switch off the washing machine by pressing the

 button.
Switch off the on-site main switch and close all on-site

shut-off valves for water or steam.
Push the emergency drain lever downwards and hold

until no more water runs out.
The emergency drainage closes automatically when the
lever is released.
Insert a flathead screwdriver into the opening under the

door handle. Turn the screwdriver anti-clockwise and pull
the door handle upwards.
Turn the drum by hand until the drum door is reached.

 Danger of crushing due to moving drum.
The drum is not locked in place during a power failure
and may move during unloading.
Remove the laundry.

You are using an unsuitable detergent.
