Switched
Switched mode defaults to full unregulated sine wave of the power through the dimmer. This is good
for inductive loads connected to a dimmer.
Change the firing mode to Switched and click Save Changes. After saving changes, the remaining
dimmer properties will change automatically or can now be set to your desired values.
Non-Dim
Non-dim mode is not offered in CEM+ as it was in classic CEM, but you can re-create it with the
settings listed below.
Non-dim is a voltage regulated version of switched mode. Switched mode delivers full sine wave power
through the dimmer, good for inductive loads. Non-dim regulates (dims) the output to a user specified
value, protecting on/off lamps from unregulated power in venues where mains exceed lamp ratings.
Non-dim operation may be accomplished using switched mode and enabling voltage regulation and
adjusting max scale voltage (see table below).
