3. Peel off the tapes that secure the antenna cables to the system board and also the black adhesive tape from the M.2 SSD
slot that is attached to the system board.
4. Disconnect the speaker cable from the connector on the system board.
5. Open the latch and disconnect the touchpad cable from the connector on the system board.
6. Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard cable from the connector on the system board.
7. Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard-backlight cable from the connector on the system board.
8. For 2-in-1 configurations, open the latch and disconnect the volume-control cable from the connector on the system board.
NOTE:
The volume-control button cable is only shipped with 2-in-1 configurations.
9. Remove the two screws (M2x4) that secure the left type-c bracket.
10. Lift the left type-c bracket from the system board.
11. Remove the two screws (M2x4) that secure the right type-c bracket.
12. Lift the right type-c bracket from the system board.
13. Remove the five screws (M2x2) that secure the system board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
14. Lift the system board at angle off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly, to clear the ports from the port openings.
NOTE:
Lift up the system board at an angle to ensure that the various connectors of the system board are free and are out of
the port openings.
