Routine tool setter maintenance

Ensure the tool setter is securely mounted and
keep all electrical connections clean. Inspect the
diaphragm once a month.
NOTE: In the event of the diaphragm seal being
damaged, return the tool setter to your supplier for
6.6
repair.

Inspecting the diaphragm seal

Remove the stylus/break stem assembly.

Remove the metal eyelid and spring.

Inspect the diaphragm seal for signs of
piercing or damage.

Remove the front cover.

Wash the inside of the probe with clean coolant.

If there is no damage, reassemble the
tool setter.
