paper roll is left, hold the core and push on
the spindle.
Caution:
c
When removing the paper roll, do not
knock the left end of the spindle (the black
movable flange side) against the floor.
Doing so may damage the left end of the
spindle.
E
Remove the paper roll from the spindle.
After rewinding the roll paper carefully,
place it in the bag and box that it came in
when you purchased it.
Attach the black movable flange to the
spindle, and insert it in the printer.

Note:
❏ Flatten the paper before loading it in the printer.
If paper that is wavy or slack is loaded, the printer
may not recognize the paper size correctly or may
not print normally.
Also, we recommend that you replace the paper in
its original packaging and store it flat, only
taking it out of the bag just before you use it.
❏ If roll paper is loaded, rewind it first before
loading single sheet paper.
❏ When you use paper other than Epson special
media, see the instructions included with the
paper, or contact your supplier for more
information.
