Press the button.
The paper cutter holder stops at the
replacement position. OPEN FRONT COVER
TO SEE CUTTER REPLACEMENT LABEL
appears on the LCD panel.

Open the front cover.

Push in the side pin while turning the paper
cutter cover to the right to open the casing.
Caution:

❏ The cutter holder incorporates a
spring. Pushing strongly on the side
pin of the cutter holder or releasing it
suddenly may cause the cutter to pop
out. Also, if you push it in too far, the
blade of the cutter may damage the
inside of the printer.
❏ Do not touch the black parts on the
either side of the inside of the printer.
❏ Be careful not to touch the cables
around the print head; otherwise, the
printer may be damaged.

Slowly take your finger off the side pin, and
carefully remove the old cutter from the
printer.
Warning:

Take care not to hurt yourself with the
blade of the cutter. Do not let children
touch the blade.
