7.2.7 and higher 1.2 Installation To install the application you must have a PC, version 1.6.5 or higher of the Gefran GF eXpress software with Catalog, the drive RS485 - PCI COM connection kit and the Electrical Line Shaft Application 2 file.
= ∗ The ELS2 Electric Line Shaft application is supported by firmware version 7.2.7 and later of the ADV200 drive and by its supply of optional cards for acquisition of encoders and for the Fast Link system bus. Typical configurations are described in the paragraph “Master-slave configurations.”...
To prevent drift, the coupling ratio must be known and expressed precisely (gear mechanics); otherwise, drift can be managed only with external correction/compensation systems. The Master encoder source cannot be the same used by the Flux vector CL control. _____ User Guide Electrical Line Shaft for ADV200 Page 7 of 72...

Fast Link is a fast synchronous communication bus that can exchange data among 16 participants, one of which is defined as master. The optional EXP-FL-XCAN-ADV Fast Link card is the communication interface for ADV200. See the specific manual for information on installing and parameterizing the optional card.

= E1 virt pos and 5732 = E1 virt rev) and sends them to the next slaves in the chain. Slave 3 reads the physical pos and rev data of Slave 2 and controls the motor in electric line shaft. _____ User Guide Electrical Line Shaft for ADV200 Page 14 of 72...
The generated speed profile is trapezoidal. Transmission of the virtual encoder data to the slaves in the chain passes through the ADV200 drive PAD functions. PADs are general-use variables that are used for data exchange among the components of a Bus system, and can therefore be compared to PLC variables.
