• Do not spray the sensors or the
surrounding area directly with high
pressure water.
Detecting vehicle
• The front sensors may not detect the
vehicle ahead or may suddenly detect
the vehicle ahead, such as when the
smart regeneration system responds
slowly, when driving on a hill ends, or
when driving through a curve. The
regenerative braking intensity may
increase and decelerate your vehicle.
• Some vehicles in your lane may not be
detected by the sensors:
B6003201
- Narrow vehicles such as motorcycles
or bicycles
- Vehicles offset to one side
- Slow-moving vehicles or sudden
decelerating vehicles
- Vehicles with small rear profile such
as trailers with no loads
• When a vehicle in front of you merges
out of the lane, the front sensors may
not detect the new stopped vehicle that
is now in front of your vehicle.
Driving on curves
• The front sensors may not detect the
vehicle ahead if you are coasting on a
curve. The regenerative braking
intensity may automatically decrease
and accelerate the vehicle.
B6003202
• On curves, if a vehicle is detected in an
adjacent lane, the regenerative braking
intensity may increase and decelerate
your vehicle.
B6003203
• If the front sensors suddenly detect the
vehicle ahead, the regenerative braking
intensity may increase and decelerate
your vehicle.
