SERVICE AS REQUIRED
A shortage of refrigerant impairs the air-conditioner
performance. Check the following points. If it is
indicated that the amount of refrigerant is extremely
low, ask your dealer to inspect and charge.
Checking procedure
1. Run the air-conditioner in the following conditions.
• Engine speed - About 1500 rpm
• Temperature control lever - Maximum cooling
position (leftmost)
• Fan switch - Highest blow
• Air-conditioner switch - "ON"
2. Look into the sight glass to see if the refrigerant is
flowing through its circuit.
(1) Sight glass
Proper
Low
Overfull or no re-
frigerant:
IMPORTANT :
• Charge only with R134a not R12 refrigerant
(gas).
9. Replacing radiator hose (water
pipes)
Replace the hoses and clamps.
(See Checking the radiator hoses and clamps on page
133.)

Little or no air bubbles in
the refrigerant flow.
Lots of air bubbles in the
refrigerant flow (air bub-
bles or foam passing
continuously).
Colorless and transpar-
ent.
NOTE :
• Replace the mentioned parts if any deterioration
(crack, hardening, scar or deformation) or
damage has occurred. However, they must be
replaced every 4 years regardless of the
condition.

10. Replacing fuel lines

Consult your local KUBOTA Dealer for this service.

11. Replacing the intake air line
