Power LED (JFP1)

JFP1 pin 9 and pin 13 are for the power LED. Refer to Appendix B for detailed infor-
mation on the pin assignments. If an ATX power supply is used, the system's power
LED status will be as indicated as follows.

External Speaker (JFP1 pins 10, 12, 14, 16)

JFP1 pins 10, 12, 14, 16 connect to an external speaker. The ASMB-822I provides
an onboard buzzer as an alternative. To enable the buzzer, set pins 14-16 closed.

HDD LED Connector (JFP1 Pins 5 & 7)
You can connect an LED to connector JFP1 to indicate when the HDD is active.

Reset Connector (JFP1 Pins 2 & 4)
Many computer cases offer the convenience of a reset button.

Case Open (JFP1 Pins 6 & 8)
A Chassis Intrusion header is located at JFP1 on the motherboard. Attach the appro-
priate cable from the chassis to be informed of a chassis intrusion when the chassis
is opened.
The defaults function is disabled and Pin 6-8 are shorted by jumper cap.
