Connecting the cables to the VoIP Gateway

Read and follow installation instructions carefully.
Only qualified service personnel may install this equipment.

Connect a 2-wire line cord to one of the RJ-11 connectors on the rear of the VoIP Gateway.
Figure 5
shows the connections on the rear of the VoIP Gateway.

Connect the other end of the line cord to an analog trunk port on the Norstar system.
The line cord you use must be less than 3,000 m (10,000 ft.) using regular 24 AWG line cord.

Repeat steps

Insert the RJ-45 connector on the Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 socket on the rear of the VoIP
Gateway.

Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your LAN.
