12 Command Reference

Menu Basics

The Command Line Interface (CLI) is used for viewing information and
statistics. In addition, the administrator can use the CLI for configuring all
levels of the VPN Gateway.
The various CLI commands are grouped into a series of menus and
submenus. Each menu displays a list of commands and/or submenus that
are available, along with a summary of what each command will do. Below
each menu is a prompt where you can enter any command appropriate
to the current menu.
When creating new CLI objects, for example a new interface or a new
group, you will enter a wizard providing the relevant questions for that
object. The regular menu for the object will be displayed after the wizard is
completed.
This section describes the Main menu commands, and provides a list of
commands and shortcuts that are commonly available from all the menus
within the CLI.
