Manually Adjust the Laser Offset
1. Click the Setup button on the User Interface Control Bar. (Figure 8)
2. Select the Laser Adjust tab at the top of the screen. (Figure 22)
3. Check the Disable Laser Frequency Lock box to allow manual control of the laser.
4. Adjust the Laser A voltage using the Laser A Frequency Offset arrow buttons to shift the
peaks until they are centered on their respective target lines.
o Up Arrow: Peaks adjust to the right
o Down Arrow: Peaks adjust to the left
5. Adjust the Laser B voltage (bottom plot) using the Laser B Frequency Offset arrow
buttons to shift the peaks until they are centered on their respective target lines.
o Up Arrow: Peaks adjust to the right
o Down Arrow: Peaks adjust to the left
6. Uncheck the Disable Laser Frequency Lock box. The software resumes automatic
tracking and control of the laser wavelength.
7. Click Close to exit the menu and return to the Main Panel.

Serial Logger Tab

Use the Serial Logger tab (Figure 23) to configure the aggregation of data from additional serial
devices (for example, GPS and anemometer). This feature is configured as part of standard
MobileGuard™ sales and installations. Contact ABB for further support with this feature.
