Label all cables to make sure that each cable is reinstalled in the correct port when service is complete.

Loosen the thumbscrew at the top right corner of the I/O module.
5.
Pull the lock bar downward to release the cam from the locked position.

With one hand supporting the bottom of the I/O module, grasp the lock bar and pull the module out of the J2000.
7.
Make sure that the connectors are aligned properly so that the I/O module slides smoothly into the I/O option slot on
the rear of the J2000.
8.
Make sure that the I/O module lock bar is in the downward, unlocked position.
9.
With one hand supporting the bottom of the replacement I/O module, fully slide the module into the appropriate
empty I/O option slot on the rear of the J2000.
10. Push the I/O module into the J2000 until the lock bar engages and the module is flush with the front of the J2000.
Never force the module into place.
11. Push the lock bar upward to lock the I/O module in place.
12. Tighten the thumbscrew to secure the I/O module to the J2000.
13. Connect all cables that were removed in step 1 to the appropriate ports on the I/O module operator panel.
14. Secure the Cable Management Arm.

Replacing a fan module

The J2000 includes four fan modules, each housing a single-impeller 60 mm fan.
Prerequisites
Remove the optional front bezel, if applicable.
Extend the J2000 from the rack.
Procedure
1. Lift the fan module cover on the top of the J2000 to expose the fan module cavity.
