The AMP power supply is used to line power mast and distribution amplifiers, etc.
directly and autonomously from your DAT103. This simplifies testing of an antenna with a
preamplifier in line, to locate the best available signal in a deep fringe or poor signal area.
Current is supplied to the devices via the input F-connector. AMP power supply mode
provides voltage, status information and control. Press the

The screen view is shown in figure 4.3.14.
The following data is shown on the screen:
1 – Voltage, values: off, 12V, or 24V.
2 – Voltage measures the value of the voltage delivered to your AMP. If the connected
cable already carries power, the warning: Vext will appear on the screen.
3 – Current measures the current being drawn by your AMP. If the current exceeds the
3 watt limit, an: Overload warning will appear on screen.

supply is on, the Analyzer monitors the load current, switching supply off if the current
exceeds the allowed level. The Analyzer will make these checks and attempt to turn the
power supply on every 3 seconds.
