Channel template manager window will appear on the screen. See figure 4.9.4.
Channel template manager allows you to:
a) Create Channel templates;
b) Edit Channel templates;
c) Load or Save Channel templates from file. Standard 7847901 channel templates:
for Australia, New Zealand, OIRT and CCIR are distributed with the DAT Tools
software. You will find them in the folder "TvSystems" in the place all user data are
stored;
d) Load or Save Channel templates to DAT103.
Channel templates include the following parameters:
a) Audio carrier. Audio carrier frequency offset from channel video carrier. Uses for
V/A ratio measurement.
b) SNR meas. C/N ratio is measured for channel when the parameter is enabled.
c) Channel template. The name of the channel template. You can see it in the
Information mode (section 4.7).
d) Frequency. Video carrier frequency is set for every channel.
e) Width. Channel bandwidth assists measuring digital channel power and
determining centre frequency of each channel.
f) Name. Identity number of the channel being measured, set for every channel.
