Leveling the Mower Deck
1. Set the anti-scalp rollers to top holes or remove
them completely.
2. Raise the mower deck to the transport-lock
position or the highest height-of-cut setting.
3. Slowly loosen the adjusting screw on the
lift-assist spring until you can remove the screw.
Note:
Save the screw for installation.

4. Place 4 blocks, each having a thickness of
7.3 cm (2-7/8 inches), under the rear and front
edges of the mower deck. Ensure to not place
the blocks under the anti-scalp rollers or welds.

1. Block—73 mm (2-7/8
inches)
5. Set the height-of-cut lever to the 76 mm (3
inches) position.
6. Carefully rotate the blades side to side.
