Notes.
In Basic Mode, the unit used in MC5-IS' display need not
be the same as in the instrument itself. Fieldbus instru-
ments use numeric codes for the units they support. When
connecting to an instrument, MC5-IS gets the unit from the
instrument. If the unit is not supported in MC5-IS, the unit's
numeric code is shown and the Quantity is set to "None".
Verifying Calibration and Trimming is not possible when a
unit not supported by MC5-IS is in use in the fieldbus in-
strument. See Appendix 1, Codes in Profibus PA Profile
Version 3.0 on page 34 or Appendix 2, Codes in Profi-
bus PA Profile Version 2.0 on page 39, for lists of sup-
ported units.
This setting does not alter the unit used in the instrument.
