Connections
The following picture presents the connections:
MC5-IS receives fieldbus data via FI5-IS Fieldbus Interface.
Depending on the instrument's input signal, it is either gener-
ated/simulated or measured with MC5-IS (not included in the
picture).

Note.
When using fieldbus compliant power supplies, no addi-
tional resistors are needed. With conventional power sup-
plies, include an approx. 50 ohm resistor between the
power supply and the network.
