3 Low distances to the object and high resolutions result in considerable overlap-
ping of neighboring points, hence high resolutions do not improve image sharp-
ness. Therefore high resolutions are only recommended for long distances to the
object.
4 The resolution level "Extreme High" should only be chosen for selection scans. A
complete scan with this resolution would require an enormous storage capacity
and could not be loaded as one entity into the computer's memory.
