2.7 Recommended Application Range

For guidelines on selecting the right dispenser, please observe the corresponding Operating Exclu-
sions and the 'Dispenser selection chart' on the next page.
2.7.1 seripettor® application range
Aqueous solutions
Biological buffer solutions and detergents, anti-foaming agents, culture media, vitamin solutions, etc.
as well as hydrogen peroxide can be dispensed in everyday routines.
Agar culture media can be dispensed up to max. 60 °C.
Acids
Low-concentrated or diluted, non-oxidizing acids can be filled.
Alkalis
Can be used for dispensing alkaline media such as NaOH, KOH and ammonia.
Polar solvents
E.g., ethanol, methanol, acetylacetone, etc.
2.7.2 seripettor® pro application range
The seripettor® pro bottle-top dispenser expands the range of applications. It enables dispensing of
acids (e.g., concentrated HCl), polar solvents (e.g., acetone) and UV-sensitive media
