Screw the instrument (GL 45 threads) onto the reagent
bottle.

To avoid tipping over, use a bottle stand for small bot-
tles.
For bottles with other thread sizes, select a suitable adapter,
see Accessories/spare parts, p. 63

When installed on a reagent bottle, always carry the in-
strument as shown in the figure and always store it up-
right!

Hold the discharge tube and remove the closure cap/
screw cap.
