NOTICE
PELV power -adapter (in accordance with IEC EN 50178)
Use a 24 V DC power supply that meets the requirements of protective extra-low voltage (ES1/
PELV).
The surge protection for the 24 V DC auxiliary voltage can be implemented by an external
device.
Disconnect the system and device from the power supply before connecting.
The IO-Link master and the 24 V DC auxiliary voltage are connected to the basic modules for
IO‑Link via removable terminals (direct start, reversing start and star-delta (wye-delta) start).
If multiple starters are implemented, the connection to the first basic module occurs in the
configuration. The other starters are supplied via the module connectors. Up to four starter
combinations can be connected to one IO‑Link master.
The diagram below provides an example of starter combination connections (a mix
comprising direct start, reversing start and star-delta (wye-delta) start) in the contactor sizes
3RT201, 3RT202, 3RT203, 3RT204.
