QS (Quick Shift System) does not operate.
1. Check that the engine trouble and
system warning light does not come
on.

2. Check that the QS is working under
normal QS operating conditions.

3. Make sure that the QS is effective.
(Check whether the "QS" icon is
displayed at the top of the meter.)

4. Check that the quick shift switch
coupler is connected.

5. Check the quick shift switch.

6. Check the gear position switch.

7. Check the entire signaling system's
wiring.

Replace the ECU.

Repair the faulty parts.

Check the QS operating conditions
explained in the owner's manual and
operate the QS accordingly.

Activate the QS. (Set the QS to a setting
other than "OFF".)

Connect the quick shift switch coupler.

Properly connect or repair the signaling
system's wiring.
