FRONT FORK

Removing the front fork legs
Before removing the front wheel, place the scissor jack "a" YSST-892A under the engine as shown and stand
the vehicle on maintenance stand.
Order
Front wheel
1 Front fender
2 Handlebar pinch bolt
3 Upper bracket pinch bolt
4 Front fork cap bolt
5 Lower bracket pinch bolt
6 Front fork assembly

The following procedure applies to both of
the front fork legs.
Refer to "FRONT WHEEL" on page 4-13.
To remove the front fender, no need to re-

move front wheel.
1 Loosen.
1 Loosen.
TIP
For easy removal of cap bolt, loosen the up-
1 per pinch bolt first then loosen the cap bolt
slightly before loosening the lower pinch
bolt.
1 Loosen.

For installation, reverse the removal proce-
dure.
