1 Cut the drainage tubings (9-1) to a length of approx. 10 cm and
attach them to the drain nozzles.
2 Attach the Y connectors (9-2) to the drainage tubings.
3 Attach the drainage tubings (9-3) to the lower outlets of the Y con-
nectors. The length of the tubings should be selected in accordance
with the distance to the waste container.
NOTICE
The waste container must be at a lower level than the drain noz-
zles of the 889 IC Sample Center Basic.
2 Y connector for tubing ID 6-9 mm

The Y connectors are used for ventilation
and prevent backing up in the tubing.
