Starting up the device
1. Plug the mains plug into the socket.
2. Set the power switch to the desired
position.
 Position "1 ON": The suction /
blowing function is activated.
 Position "0 OFF": The device is
switched off.
Note
When purchasing and installing filter
bags and cartridge filters, pay attention
to the current part numbers.

Dry vacuuming
ATTENTION
Sucking cold ashes
Device damage
Only vacuum cold ash with an ash pre-
separator.
ATTENTION
Defective or wet foam filter / car-
tridge filter
Device damage
Before intial startup, check the foam fil-
ter / cartridge filter for damage and re-
place it if necessary. Vacuum only with
a dry foam filter / cartridge filter.
Depending on the configuration, a foam
filter or a cartridge filter is included.
 For devices with foam filter: Always
use filter bags in addition to the foam
filter when dry vacuuming.
 For units with cartridge filter: Always
use filter bags in addition to the car-
tridge filter when vacuuming fine
dust.
Note
Regularly replace the filter bag when
full as a filter bag that is too full could
be damaged. The filling level of the fil-
ter bag depends on the dirt being vac-
uumed. The filter bag should be
replaced more often in the case of fine
dust, sand, etc.
