Adjustable UV Filter Option

This option offers the ability to control the amount of UV light emitted from the light source.
This is used for applications that need to identify the presence of optical brightening
agents, or other types of fluorescent materials in the samples being evaluated.
The configuration of the adjustable UV filter is handled through the software. See also
Datacolor TOOLS user Guide for detailed instructions to configure the option and calibrate
the instrument.

Transmission Option (Datacolor 650/650V)

The Datacolor 650 includes an option to measure the transmission properties of
transparent and translucent samples. It can measure the "regular" transmittance of
transparent solid and liquid samples, as well as the "total" and "diffuse" transmittance of
translucent samples. The transmission option is also available with the Datacolor 650V
vertical mount model.

Vertical Mount Option (Datacolor 650V/600V/400V)

This is a modification to the instrument that provides the ability to mount the unit vertically.
The vertical mount unit is fitted with a viewing port to verify that the sample completely
covers the aperture.
Datacolor 650V
The Datacolor 600V and 400V are typically used by the paper industry.
The Datacolor 650V offers the option to make transmission measurements in a
vertical configuration.
