13 Fault clearing

The situations described here only refer to the direct functionality of the
Presence Watchdog. Further information concerning the elimination of problems
can be found in the operating instructions of the flush-mounting inserts or of the
hand-held IR transmitter 6010.
Diagnosis
The load does not switch at
all:
The Presence Watchdog
does not react:
The Presence Watchdog
actives without any visible
movement:
The Presence Watchdogs
deactives although someone
is moving in the detection
range:
Cause/Remedy
– Replace the defective load
– Reconnect/reset the line-side fuse.
– Repair the interrupted cable.
– Check the connections of the flush-mounting
insert.
– Check the potentiometer settings.
– If the brightness limit is too low, increase it.
– Check/change heat sources (heaters etc.) in
the room.
If necessary, cover the affected area with the
supplied film.
– The movements of the persons are too feeble.
– Increase the tripping delay on the "time"
potentiometer.
