To add salt to the washing machine, follow these steps:
1.Remove the lower basket and unscrew the tank cap.
2.Place the end of the (supplied) funnel in the opening and pour about 1.5 kg of dishwasher salt.
3.Fill the tank with water up to the maximum mark. It is normal for some water to leak out
of the salt container.
4.After filling the tank, tightly close the cap.
5.The salt warning indicator will turn off after you fill the tank with salt.
6.Start the washing program immediately after filling the tank with salt (we advise that this
program be short). Otherwise, the filtration system, pump or other important parts of the
washing machine could be damaged by salt water. This is not covered under warranty.
REMARK:
The salt tank should be refilled only when the salt warning indicator ( ) lights
up on the control panel. The warning indicator may remain lit after adding
salt, depending on how quickly it dissolves.
If there is no salt shortage indicator on the control panel (in some models),
you can judge yourself when to add salt according to the number of washing
machine cycles. If salt is spilled, run a short or soak program to remove it.
