9. Error Messages and Troubleshooting
When an error occurs during a measurement, the measurement is
interrupted and an error message displayed, e.g. „ERR 3".

Potential cause and remedy
The pulse signals on the cuff are too weak.
Re-position the cuff and repeat the measurement.
During the measurement interference signals were
detected on the cuff due to, for instance movement
or muscle tension. Repeat the measurement, not
moving your arm.
It is not possible to build up sufficient pressure in
the cuff. There may be a flaw in the cuff, causing
a pressure leak. Check that the cuff connection is
correct and that the cuff is not too loose around
your wrist. Replace the batteries if necessary.
Repeat the measurement.

Pulse or cuff
The pressure in the cuff is too high (over 300

The pulse rate is too low (less than 40 beats per
minute). Repeat the measurement.*
