Record the MAC Address
Record the fabric module MAC address, which you will need for the initial fabric module setup described in the HPE
Composable Fabric Module Administrator Guide using Linux and CLI. The MAC address is located on a label on top of the
fabric module. There is also a tag on the right hand side of the fabric module (when facing the front panel), which contains
the MAC address.
Installation Considerations
Keep the following considerations in mind when installing and cabling fabric modules.
Description
Installed in chassis. A blue bar indicates airflow from power
supply panel to I/O panel. A red bar indicates airflow from
I/O panel to power supply panel.
Installed in chassis. A blue release tab indicates airflow
from power supply panel to I/O panel. A red release tab
indicates airflow from I/O panel to power supply panel.
1.5 meters. Complies with country standards. Connect to
separate circuits for redundancy.
For Console connection.
Verify that you have all cables ordered for your installation.
For valid cables and part numbers, refer to the HPE
Composable Fabric Support Matrix.
Rack mount for the fabric module.
